TRANSLUCENT

I stand stationary
observing interactions amongst others
they don’t see me but I see them

I feel translucent

I know you but you don’t know me
you only know she and she once was me but
not anymore
so we both agree
that you failed to notice…

I feel translucent

I be standin’ where the sidewalk ends
with my shoelaces untied
contemplating ends
and still no one knows

I feel translucent

Drove to the ocean
where I poetry slammed into a wave
drifted to shore
where you see me know more

I feel translucent

Now I kick it where the wild things are
cause they see me
no more confusion
we see we

Our souls catch fire from letting the light shine through

Tell me, yes or no..
You feel translucent too?

HEAVY

Rain falls as things do in life
Making reality slippery
I cannot grasp

I feel heavy

All though it replenishes my soul
It burns my skin like acid rain
Soaks my spirit

I feel heavy

People disappear like tears in rain
Self remains but

I still feel heavy

When I disappear myself
Send 300 men for me
I’ll be resting in a tomb

Enlightened
spirit lightened

They’ll reach inside of me and find

I still feel heavy
